About Katie Raffaini

Katie grew up in Marin County, California and moved to San Luis Obispo in 2018 to attend Cal Poly, studying Environmental Management and Protection. She has been an intern for Central Coast State Parks Association since January 2021, and is also beginning an internship with Environment in the Public Interest, CoastKeeper. In her free time, Katie loves road tripping, backpacking, and thrifting around SLO. She is passionate about learning natural the processes of the planet, and getting outside to experience it all.
