About Violet Emerson

Hello, my name is Violet Emerson, I just finished my first year at Cal Poly SLO as an Environmental Management and Protection major. I am from San Luis Obispo, and I grew up really enjoying being outside, hiking and running. Throughout my childhood I spent many summers camping and exploring National Parks with my family. I hope to pursue a job that has me spending time outside in nature. I really enjoy telling my parents what I learn about in my ecology, biology, and botany classes, so I am hoping that my blogs can help educate and excite you all about the incredible places that we can explore on the Central Coast.
