Having lived in both northern and southern California, Tim can confidently tell you that the Central Coast feels like Baby Bear’s porridge—just right. It is the perfect blend of nature, community, and calm. Originally from Texas, Tim moved to California for his undergraduate studies and discovered its rugged coastlines and natural landscapes to be a source of inspiration and purpose, shaping both his personal and professional journey.
Tim is an attorney at Kirk & Simas having earned his law degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law (King Hall). During law school, he worked with the State Water Resources Control Board and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), gaining firsthand experience in environmental law and policy. His legal career spans civil litigation, employment law, and serving most recently as in-house corporate counsel for a business, real estate, and software conglomerate.
He is honored to serve on the board of the Central Coast State Parks Association, where he is once again able to contribute his expertise to the environment by supporting CCSPA’s mission of protecting California’s state parks through education and advocacy as well as inspiring a new generation of environmental stewards. Here’s a reminder to never stop exploring the outdoors.
