Sedona Harris

Sedona Harris is the Fundraising & Outreach Coordinator at Central Coast State Parks Association, where she helps to connect people with and support the incredible California State Parks along the Central Coast. She is a recent graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she earned a B.S. in Journalism with a concentration in News. Her background spans storytelling, social media, video production and community outreach. Sedona loves bringing people together and sharing stories that inspire others.

Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawai’i, she has grown up loving the outdoors and exploring new places. She has spent time working at national parks during the summer and has always felt a responsibility to “Mālama ‘Āina” (respect the land). Outside of work, you can usually find her hiking, at the beach, traveling or looking for her next adventure.
