Tyler spent the first half of his career as a state park ranger and the second half as an elementary school teacher. During his retirement he has volunteered his time several places including Citizens’ Climate Lobby – SLO Chapter, a non-profit, non-partisan grass roots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change. Tyler has also volunteered as a docent at the information desk at the Morro Bay State Park’s Museum of Natural History, which overlooks the stunning Morro Bay National Estuary.
Tyler loves to read, study nature, camp, hike, kayak and explore our wonderful parks and natural areas. He is the father of three grown sons and has one granddaughter. It is his heartfelt desire that we will pass on a healthy natural world for our descendants.
